Camila Quintero is a visual artist based in London. She has established a way to work with abstract geometry by using both fluid and controlled automatism. She is also keen to develop works that have a three-dimensional quality by exploring perspective, distortion and deconstruction. Her works are based on perception. Her interests are in abstraction and geometry and she expands basic principles of design to create compositions that are evocative adding a sense of movement, inaccurate perspective and surrealism. Her artworks evoke curiosity and a sense of spatial discovery. Her work references different disciplines across art, architecture, photography and design.
Camila Quintero has an MA in Visual Arts from UAL / Camberwell College of Arts where she gained an A grade Distinction.
